Comments: | Geoff: I had a lovely visit. However, I was unable to visualize the astonishing outake from 'Preservation' WHICH I would dearly love to see, having seen the show at Winterland in San Franisco in 1974. Nonetheless I will take this memory with me 'til the day I die, along with the concert at Waltham Cross and the experience at the New Inn. Trust all is well, Randolph |

Comments: | well my boy, you seem like a kinks fan alright. the only one that i've (and will probably)bother(ed) to contact!!!... as another kinks fan. i couldn't start telling it all to you, (i should write a book) but i'm already busy writing songs... the kinks are bound to be in it somewhere, i guess! though not too much i hope... aren't we all not like everybodyelse ? the fact you picked up "such a shame" as a song must have clinched the deal for me!!! i could answer to you "it's too late" those tiny little buried jewels of ray... i agree completely with you on your assessement that ray is not giving anything away in his 1st book. but he always is giving himself away really! i, for one, believe that the great majority of his songs he has written are about him. and he has become so bloody great at it. (mark my words, when the chips are down and all the mc cartneys and jaggers will have retired to the bahamas, he will still be there trying to finish that long and lonely distance race he star |
